Even as Volkswagen makes plans to go all hybrid, they are also at work on the next generation of hybrid, the plug-in hybrid.VW introduced the concept of the Up! rear engined subcompact hatchback vehicle. At 135.8 inches long and 64.2 inches wide, this is a very small car but can still seat four (well... cram in four). But VW wants to introduce a couple of variations on their concept model: a small minivan and a plug-in sedan.
The plug-in would be expected to get 100 mpg and is expected to be introduced in L.A.
